How to distribute design content and make more progress with less work.

Do you ever feel like you are putting together all of the work for social media and only putting it on one platform?  Have you been told to get an email list, send out emails and blog? Does all of this make you cross eyed crazy? Here is a way you can reuse your content and make a whole lot more progress with less work.  You can spread your content out and reuse it as much as possible.  This sheet will show you how to classify each action and allow you to put it on a calendar.

Marketing sheet:

1.  outlines each type of social media that you can use. /Facebook/ Pinterest/ Instagram/ Blog/Other

 2. you should be considering how you are participating on each of those platforms.- You have to speak the language and be in the right format.

Social Media Sheet:

Gives you 6 days a week and each day has 4 items that can happen on it’s list.

 

Facebook :

(Is the talk show of Social media)

post your blog to it

post your instagram to it (Instagram can do this for you) Maybe post Mondays Instagram on Wednesday and change the days around)

Post a tutorial or do a live- this is the only way to have traction these days.

Pinterest:

(is a search engine to be found)

Post YOUR  images to new boards (tailwind will do this for you)

Post your instagram images to Pinterest (tailwind can do it for you)

Post blog to Pinterest

(create graphics to get people to your blog)

Post tutorials

Instagram:

(news feed of pretty things)

Know: Picture of you/

Like: Items and products that are new

Trust: Completed Projects/ with story about the client in that space

Expertise/ Educate: Link to blog or post part of it

Link any tutorial, guide,

Blog:

Think of your blog as a refreshing of your website. If you blog consistently your content is new and refreshed and you pull up faster in searches, up to 2 times a week is ideal.… it just works that way. So blog.  Blog understanding you are not a professional blogger but a person making your website awesome and giving people neat things to look at.  What is great about a blog is that it could be a micro blog…. it can also be the item you email out as your newsletter.

LET’S BREAK IT DOWN- I LOVE A ROUTINE AND A WORKSHEET

Week 1: 

    • 5 images for instagram, (auto posted to Pinterest, and Facebook)
    • 1 blog Post,- Monday Post to site, 
          • Tuesday-emailed out as newsletter…
          • posted to Facebook, 
          • shared on Insta
    • Facebook- video is most effective 
    • Shuffle around some photos in Pinterest,  repining your images in your boards.
    • Make one New Pinterest style Canva image to promote your blog. 

Week 2:

    • 5 images for instagram, (auto posted to Pinterest, and Facebook)
    • 1 Facebook tutorial or tour of a project,- Video is Most effective 
    • Shuffle around some photos in Pinterest, – again some of the same images… Dig out old ones too! This is a search engine so tag countertops, faucets, sinks and cabinets as well as style location, paint color and room type.
    • Make one New Pinterest style Canva image to promote a previous post.

Week 3:

    • 5 images for instagram, (auto posted to Pinterest, and Facebook)
    • 1 blog Post, – Style Guide of New Products you like-
      • Monday Post to site
          • posted to Facebook,
          • shared on Insta
    • 1 Facebook live,- Video is Most effective 
    • Shuffle around some photos in Pinterest, – add few new/old projects
    • Make one New Pinterest style Canva image to promote your style guide.

Week 4:

    • 5 images for instagram, (auto posted to Pinterest, and Facebook)
    • 1 blog Post, -retitle a previous blog post  to see if it can get more traction—
    • 1 Facebook tutorial or sneak peak of a project,- Video is Most effective 
    • Shuffle around some photos in Pinterest, – again some of the same images… Dig out old ones too! This is a search engine so tag countertops, faucets, sinks and cabinets as well as style location and room type.
    • Make one New Pinterest style Canva image to promote your blog with new heading.

FOR THE MONTH:

Total

1 new blog article a month, 

A graphic of either a bathroom selection sheet or a style guide image.

20 Images  4 images of 5 categories of topic for instagram

4 Canva -style Images for Pinterest

and a busy Tailwind App. 

With that you can have 1-2 newsletters a month and you show up on your site regularly and 3 other social media sites each month– 20 TIMES!

You get to have all of the fun putting together the Instagram images and reusing them everywhere.
